Borders
Grade Level(s): Preschool, K, 1-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12
Submitted by: Christina Curtis

In addition to the fabric backgrounds - don't forget about fabric borders. Walmart, cloth and dollar stores sell fabric borders - fuzzy, tassles, metallic, etc. I recently used a sequined border to post homecoming pictures. They were sewn to an elastic band so it was quick and easy to put up as well as take down. Simply remove staples and store. They also sell borders with beads that my students loved. They cost a little more than paper, but can be reused for years.
