To share our individuality, together we are a classroom of exciting people!

Materials:

  • Colors and/or markers
  • 3 x 9 piece of tagboard (or whatever size you want).

Plan:

  1. Discuss how we are unique & special people. -share hobbies, family life, talents, etc.
  2. Our names are unique to us also. Write your name on the piece of tagboard. Do it in your best writing. Design it in colors and designs important to you. Tell a little about yourself in your design. What you think looks good. Fully color it.
  3. I usually cover the side of my door with all our names and I leave it up all year. Once the first few are taped up with book tape, the rest of the students can't wait to get theirs done. New students are easy to add whenever they grace your class.

Comments:

I like this for a 1st day of school activity too.
