The Lifesaver Descriptive Writing Lesson

Students use descriptive writing and explore their senses while eating a Lifesaver.
- Individually wrapped lifesavers
- Students are instructed to observe all of their senses while eating a lifesaver.
- They must write silently from the time they open the wrapper until the last bit of candy is dissolved.
- They are not allowed to bite the Lifesaver, only suck on it and continuously write about all that they are tasting, smelling, hearing, etc. until the candy is finally gone.
